song 58 "not robot"

Had a sudden wave of Dead Tired on my drive home from work today, but I kept going as usual. The kit I'm using on the electric drums is called "robot". A match made in heaven.

We're not robots our batteries are different
We run out of juice and we just keep going
We never short circuit or go haywire
and when we want a nap we can go on without it

When a robot's battery dies, so does the robot
and it needs to be recharged to bring it back to life
I guess what I'm trying to say is my batteries
died a couple hours ago and yet here I am

Going on and on and on like a machine
I guess we're more like machines
