once in a while and to great effect
the stars align and my feeble thoughts collect
I'm just connecting the dots
steaming along as a train firm upon the rails
but this ship has sailed
this is not one of those times
every now and again a feeling comes
and I have something to say
but I'm interrupted and I forget what it was
this is one of those days
sitting outside in the dark of night
watching the sky as the jets fly over my head
and I'm writing the next line
oh never mind
I forgot what I just said
